Financial, legal, logistics, and healthcare organizations processing thousands of complex PDFs, invoices, and scanned forms frequently search to hire a freelance Document AI, OCR & PDF parsing programmer. I am Aldian Fazrihady, a Senior Freelance AI Application Engineer and Python/Go Developer available on Upwork.
Core Document AI & OCR Engineering Capabilities
- Layout-Aware PDF & Table Extraction: Building high-accuracy ingestion pipelines with AWS Textract, Google Document AI, LlamaParse, Unstructured.io, and Vision LLMs (Gemini 2.5 Pro, Claude 3.7 Sonnet, GPT-4o) to preserve complex multi-column tables and checkboxes.
- Deterministic Schema Validation & Confidence Scoring: Validating extracted fields against strict Pydantic schemas, cross-checking line-item arithmetic totals, and routing low-confidence fields to a React human-in-the-loop review UI.
- High-Throughput Asynchronous Pipelines: Processing tens of thousands of documents daily via Celery, Redis, and S3 event queues with idempotent retry logic.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do you prevent hallucinations when extracting financial or medical tables from PDFs?
I combine bounding-box OCR coordinates with deterministic arithmetic cross-checks (verifying row sums against invoice totals) and highlight exact source PDF regions in the verification UI.
