Retail brands, hospitality chains, consumer fintech apps, and creator platforms replacing expensive SaaS loyalty tools (Talon. One, Yotpo, Smile.io) with custom, margin-aware rewards programs frequently search to hire a freelance loyalty points ledger, gamification & referral engine programmer. I am Aldian Fazrihady, a Senior Freelance Full Stack Developer available via Upwork.
Core Loyalty Ledger, FIFO Point Expiration & Rule Engine Capabilities
- FIFO Point Expiration & Double-Entry Points Ledger: Tracking point earn buckets with individual expiration dates so redemptions automatically consume the oldest expiring points first (FIFO) and order returns claw back unspent points accurately.
- Real-Time Rule Evaluation Engine: Awarding bonus points, tier upgrades (Silver -> Gold -> Platinum), streak badges, and cashback rewards based on SKU margin, purchase frequency, and referral milestones.
- Apple Wallet & Google Wallet Live Pass Updates: Pushing live point-balance and tier updates directly to customer Apple Wallet (`.pkpass` APNs) and Google Wallet passes.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do you prevent promo-code and referral self-referral abuse?
I implement device/payment-fingerprint graph checks, pending-escrow point holds until the referred order passes the return window, and atomic single-use redemption locks.
